River Rats win SC Super State Championship

The 11 U River Rats baseball team went undefeated this weekend to capture the SC Super State Championship. On Saturday, the River Rats defeated Spartanburg Storm 10-0 and the Carolina Diamond Dawgs 11-4. Sunday, they wrapped up the tournament by shutting out the SC Sluggers 8-0 and the Spartanburg Storm 10-3. The River Rats are: front row — Charvis Worthy, Hunter Bailey, Dexlie Inman, Ethan Bailey, LeBrayon Woods, Coco Smith; middle row — Shemar Glenn, AJ Hunter, Franklin Thompson, Troy Millwood, Jordan Jeter, Jason Hopper; back row — manager Jeff Bailey, coaches George Jeter, Ronnie Latham and Dexter Inman.
