A 14-year-old Buffalo boy is accused of trying to get two girls to touch him inappropriately while the three were riding on a school bus for handicapped children.

The boy was charged Friday by the Union County Sheriff’s Office with indecent exposure and committing a lewd act on a minor. The boy’s name was not released because of his age. His case will be handled in Family Court.

Lewis Jeter, assistant superintendent for personnel and student services, said the bus driver had made school administration aware that there was a problem before a parent of one of the girls made a report to the sheriff’s office. Jeter said the boy had already been removed from school and no longer was riding the bus when the report was made.

Two girls, who are 14 and 15, told Sgt. Dee Haney that the boy made one of them touch his private parts and also asked the other girl to touch him.

The girl forced to touch the boy said he told her if she told on him he would kill her. The girls said the boy had exposed himself on more than one occasion on the bus.

The incidents occurred on a school bus near the Riley Road between May 4 and May 11, the day the report was taken.
