A report said that on March 25, a Whitmire woman came to the sheriff’s office and filed a report saying that on May 20, 2008, she learned that her 15-year-old daughter was pregnant. It was suspected that Crocker, the mother’s boyfriend, could be the father of the baby. The mother of the teen-ager said the Department of Social Services opened a case but law enforcement was not notified because the girl kept changing her story.
The mother of the teen-ager brought letters from Crocker to the girl staring that he could possibly be the father of the child.
The report said complaints of Crocker being sexually active with the child go back as far as 2006 when those involved were living in another county.
