Caitlin Schier, a member of The Brat Pack, is ranked first in the South Carolina Grand Prix.

The Grand Prix is a ranking of South Carolina runners by Strictly Running of Columbia. To be ranked you must run races on the state Grand Prix circuit. Points are given for finishing times.

The Union Public Safety Torch Run to be held in May is a Grand Prix race.

Winning races or placing as top finisher in her age division put Schier in first. On Saturday, she was the overall winning female of the Laurens Little Bridge Run (5 miles) with a finishing time of 32:33.

Schier also was the first female finisher of the Lexington Race Against Hunger (6.2 miles) with a time of 41:52.

Finishing first in her age division in the South Carolina 10k Championship (6.2 miles), Schier crossed the finish line at 40.51.

“The Brat Pack is very proud of Caitlin for this accomplishment and is honored to have her as a member,” said Pack member Stephanie Kitchens.
