Two people were taken to Wallace Thomson Hospital Friday afternoon after a traffic accident at the intersection of Highway 176 and S.C. 49. Capt. Greg Pickens with the Union Public Safety Department said the SUV was traveling east on Highway 49 and had a green light while the van was traveling north on Higway 176 and disregarded the red light. More details were not available at press time. (Graham Williams/Times)
