UNION — Students, parents and staff recently enjoyed an evening of science fun at Foster Park Elementary School.
Fourth-grade and fifth-grade teachers prepared science related experiences for everyone to enjoy. Students tested various substances to see which one would clean a penny the best, which brand of diaper would hold the most water, which paper towel brand is the strongest and how physical activity affects your heart rate.
Students then performed a Martin Luther King Jr. Readers’ Theater and sang two songs.
