The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Marquis Antwon Morgan, 32, of 103 Black Berry Road in Union, was charged with two counts of second degree burglary, attempted second degree burglary, larceny and car breaking. According to arrest warrants, Morgan took a set of keys and a pair of pruning shears from a truck on Thomas Street in Union. He then broke into the Union County Health Department and a nearby utility building, and he attempted to break into the Union County Recreation Department.

— Keith Duran Gist, 23, of 274 Meansville Road, Union, was charged with shoplifting. According to the arrest warrant, Gist took two sets of headphones from Wal-Mart.

— Evey Marie Adams, 17, of 319 C St., Jonesville, was charged with third-degree assault and battery. According to the arrest warrant, Adams assaulted another student at Union County High School.

— Dewayne Darnell Stevens, 41, of 112 Chambers Ave., Union; Rajanee Green, 18, of 304 Columbus St., Union; and Raven Carrie Singletary, 17, of 205 Lipsey St., Union were each charged with disorderly conduct. According to the incident report, officers were dispatched to 112 Chambers Ave. in reference to a disturbance. While officers were talking to a witness, Stevens, Green and Singletary “became loud and boisterous and started arguing with one another.”

— Willie Albert Booker, 33, of 129 E. Lee St., Union, was charged with disorderly conduct. According to the incident report, Booker had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person while walking on the 400 block of South Mountain Street in Union, and he was incoherent to questions asked by an officer. Booker was transported to Union County Jail.

— John Blake Turner, Jr., 33, of 223 Hilltop View, Union, was charged with third-degree burglary. According to the arrest warrant, Turner entered a dwelling on Spring Street and took a high school ring. He then sold the ring to Keepsake Jewelers.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest:

— Jessie Lee Rice, 25, of 107 Hamlet St., Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature. According to the incident report, the victim stated that Rice punched her in the head and attempted to prevent her from calling 9-1-1. He finally left the residence when she was able to call 9-1-1. The report says the 6-foot-5, 280-pound Rice was charged with CDV High and Aggravated due to his sheer size difference over the victim. The incident occurred in front of a small child, and DSS was notified.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

— A Lockhart resident reported on Dec. 18 that 350 gallons of fuel had been taken from a tank located in the parking lot across from Lockhart First Baptist Church. The fuel level of the tank — which belongs to E & E Contracting Group — was checked on Dec. 14. When workers returned on Dec. 18, the fuel was missing.

— A resident of Baylor Street in Carlisle reported on Dec. 18 that someone had vandalized his vehicle by marking profanity into the vehicle with an unknown object.

— A resident of Police Club Road in Union reported on Dec. 18 that she believes someone has stolen her dog, which is a white Great Pyrenees and was wearing a black collar. The victim stated there was a larceny in the neighborhood around the same time, which makes her believe the dog might have been stolen.
