UNION – The Union Daily Times’ Pigskin Pick ’Em panel is back in action this week, although a little sluggish after too much turkey and dressing. However, there is no time for gluttony this year — our Union County Yellow Jackets are playing for the Upper State Championship Friday night and the Palmetto State Showdown is on Saturday.
At the beginning of the season I wasn’t so sure I’d be picking my Tigers this week but when the time came to make my prediction, there was no hesitation. Clemson will win this ballgame. Steven Addis, an avid Gamecock supporter, begrudgingly agrees, as does Kevin Shropshire. Sam Phipps and Doc Lipsey are taking South Carolina although Sam believes it will come down to a field goal.
We are joined by former Union County and Coastal Carolina football standout Marcus Lott who has made some interesting predictions including a Missouri upset over SEC foe Texas A&M.
