WELLFORD — Mrs. Barbara Boulware Smith, 71, widow of Ted Copeland Smith, 340 Millbank Road, Wellford, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 after an extended illness.

Mrs. Smith was born in Union, June 10, 1941 a daughter of the late Lewis V. and Pauline Keisler Boulware. She was retired from Reeves Brother in Spartanburg and was a member of Community Baptist Church in Wellford.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna Carver and husband Dale of Fountain Inn and Kimberly Thomason of the home; two sons, Mickey Dill and wife Lori of Lyman and Mike Smith and wife Becky of Union; a stepson, Scott West of Union; a brother, James Boulware, also of Union; 13 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith was predeceased by two sisters, Glynnis Austin and Shirley Fox; and a brother, Lewis Vernon Boulware Jr.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Bill Jolly. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Rickey Keisler, Dale Carver, Mike Smith, Mark Smith, Randy Fox, Scott Austin and Wayne Fox.

Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the services in the chapel.

The family will be at their respective homes.
