To the editor:

Clerk of Court Mr. Freddie Gault should be commended for the job he has done in his office. Mr. Gault came into this office under extremely difficult conditions and has managed to do an excellent job. Furthermore, he has created a system of checks and balances within the office so that child support payments and deposits are handled more efficiently and honestly and will not be mishandled again.

Mr. Gault has proven that he is a man of integrity who can be trusted to do what is right for his office and Union County. He is also in the process of upgrading technology in his office to ensure that it is equivalent to or surpasses that of other counties. He has also researched programs in the surrounding counties to see what they are doing in an effort to improve the office in Union.

Mr. Gault is a good, moral and religious family man who have proven his worth in Union County and can be trusted by all. We strongly believe we should keep Freddie Gault as our Clerk of Court for Union County.
