UNION — Pearl Booker Eison, 53, 306 Buffalo-West Springs Highway, Union, S.C., died Oct. 27, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Union, she was the wife of William Eison of the home and the daughter of the late James Booker and Elesia Salter Booker. She was a member of McBeth Baptist. She was a 1978 graduate of Union High School and earned an associate degree from Spartanburg Technical College. She was a teacher with Carolina Community Actions Headstart Program.

Survivors in addition to hear husband include one son, Dominic Lamar Eison of Wichita, KS; a goddaughter, Makayla Hill of Union; two brothers, Earl (Rev. Patricia) Booker and Fredericus Levar Booker, both of Union; five sisters, Betty Jeter, Edna Booker, Freda Farr, and Leethel Booker-Newell, all of Union, and Lela (John) Brown of Elmore, AL.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at 1 p.m. at McBeth Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home.

The Michael A. Glenn Funeral Home, 361 Meansville Road, is serving the family.
