At the movies

Union County Supervisor Tommy Sinclair, Union County Carnegie Library Director Ben Loftis and World War II veteran Frank Hart attended “The Americans On Hell’s Highway,” the second part of the “American Road to Victory” trilogy. The trilogy, which chronicles the American experience in the final year of World War II in Europe, is being presented by the Union County Carnegie Library in cooperation with the Friends of the Library and the Union Elks Lodge.

Unattended Children Policy

A new policy regarding children 12 years of age and under beccame effective July 30, 2012. You may get a copy of the policy at the library or call if you have questions.

Friends Of The Library Mini-Book Sale And Donation Dates

With the exception of 11/15, you may bring your book donations on the same date as the mini-sales.

Friends of the Library receive a 50 percent discount during sales.

Thursday — 11/1/12 — 2-5 p.m.

Thursday — 11/15/12 — 5-8 p.m. (During Christmas Downtown book donations will NOT be accepted on this date)
