UNION — The senior fitness program at the Union County YMCA is more active than ever according to fitness instructor Kaye Fowler.
The program serves participating seniors by guiding them as they increase physical strength, mobility and range of motion as well as improve the health of their heart and lungs.
Fowler said the group is already up to approximately 50 people, and they meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning.
In addition to exercise, the group enjoys outings including lunches and trips out of town. The group’s most recent trip was to the Greenville Zoo.
For more information about the program or to enroll, call the Union County YMCA at (864) 427-0668.
