The Union County High School girls golf team not only defeated Laurens at River Chase on Oct. 2, but also achieved a first as a team.
Coach Kim Balkum said the team defeated Laurens 194-219.
“This was also the first time the team has broken 200,” Balkum said. “So very happy and proud of my girls.”

On Monday, the team travels to Village Greens to play Chapman. Chapman then comes to River Chase on Tuesday.
