UNION — The Union County Arts Council hosted Business After Hours earlier this week.

Sponsored by the Union County Chamber of Commerce, Business After Hours is a quarterly event that gives chamber members and the public an opportunity to come together in a relaxed setting. Those who attended the festivities were treated to food, music and fellowship, with a view of numerous works of art which were displayed on the arts council walls.

In addition to the Union County Arts Council, Monday’s festivities were sponsored by Winters Law Firm, ServiceMaster, Harmony Care Hospice and Spartanburg Community College. Each sponsor had a table and provided small gifts and information. Door prizes at the event included two tickets to the Biltmore House and gasoline gift cards redeemable at Bell Exxon, which is also a chamber member.

“It was a great event surrounded by art, music and great food catered by The Inn at Merridun,” said Torance Inman, director of the chamber.

The Union County Chamber of Commerce currently has 224 members including local and area businesses, individuals and organizations.
