Sis bought herself a boxer, Doberman, and pit bull mix dog. The salesman told Sis that dog would attack a circle saw and it running. Sis was telling our neighbor Jamie Yount about her new guard dog. She told her no burglar, robber, or tramp could come to our house. Jimmie asked Sis, “What does he do? Bark at them?” Sis replied, “No, he crawls under the sofa!”
Meeting
Prudence Lodge in Jonesville meets Thursday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Passing
We were saddened to learn of the passing of one of our dear friends and lodge brother, Mr. Paul Keisler. Mr. Paul was a good neighbor, and he loved his family, friends, and his Lord. He will be dearly missed.
Birthday Card
J.D. Bright is so conceited that on his last birthday, he sent a card of congratulations to his mother.
As most of you know, Sis passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 19.
Thank You
I want to say again how much love our friends and neighbors showed Sis and me. She was loved by many, she was a fine Christian lady and we all will miss her, thanks to all.

Undergoing Surgery

Our special people of the week are Jane Lawson and Beth Martin. These two ladies were by Sis’s bedside from the beginning to the end. I don’t know how Sis and I could have gotten through this without them, Thanks Beth and Jane.
