UNION — Ben Harry Worthy, 75, 201 Gault Avenue, died Sept. 19, 2012.
A native of Union, he was the son of the late Landrum Worthy and Florence Anna Lou Suber Worthy. He was a member of Maple Ridge Baptist Church and was retired from Excelsior Mill.
Survivors include three daughters, Pamela Means, Cynthia Hardy, and Belinda Worthy; six sisters, Martha Jane Beacham, Pauline Dawkins, Margaret Ann Worthy, Rosa Lee Hughes, Mary Alice McBeth, and Floyd Richards; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Maple Ridge Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister at 408 Foster St., Union, S.C.
Arrangements are with the Michael A. Glenn Funeral Home, 361 Meansville Road.
