UNION — Pearline Hughes, 69, 150 Joe Walker Road, died Sept. 11, 2012, in Wallace Thomson Hospital.
A native of Union, she was the daughter of the late Willie Monroe Hughes and the late Mary Rice Hughes. She was a member of Wyatt’s Chapel Baptist Church and was retired from Cone Mills.
Survivors include one son, Michael (Cathy) Hughes of Chester; one daughter, Michele Johnson of Union; two sisters, Mary (Jimmy) Davis of Union and Willie Thompson of Jonesville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Wyatt’s Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, 156 Joe Walker Road, Union.
