JONESVILLE — Mrs. June Cathcart Lancaster, 58, widow of Dennis Wayne Lancaster, 1851 Mudbridge Road, Jonesville, S.C., passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Lancaster was born in Union, June 1, 1954, a daughter of Jean “Nanny-Bug” Billings Cathcart of Pauline and the late Edward Cathcart. She was retired from Disney Distribution Center and had previously worked at Conso Products. Mrs. Lancaster was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother are a daughter Anna Lancaster; a son David Lancaster and wife Jennifer, all of Union; three sisters, Patti Rice and husband Stanley of Union, Susan Morris and husband Ken of Inman and Kathy Farr and husband Tommy of Pauline; two grandchildren, Michael and Abby Lancaster.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Melvin Shelton.

Visitation will be held after the graveside services in the church fellowship hall.

Memorials may be made to the Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.

The family will be at the home of her son, David and Jennifer Lancaster, 1853 Mudbridge Road, Jonesville.
