NEW EMANUEL CHAPEL AND MEN OF ACTION will host “Bridging the Gap Between Church and Community” — a free unity day for the community at the Jonesville Municipal Complex (the old Jonesville High School) from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Purpose of the event is to raise community awareness on issues related to health, education, finance and other topics. There will be free vendors, food, and various forms of entertainment for all ages.

THE BETHESDA BAPTIST CHURCH YOUTH MINISTRY will sponsor Fun in the Park from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Foster Park. There will be free food, games and music. Anglers are urged to bring their fishing rod. Fishing licenses are available at Wal Mart. A 14-day license costs $5 and a one-year license costs $10. Those 15 years and younger do not need a fishing license.
