JONESVILLE — A fight early Saturday morning that grew out of an earlier fight resulted in 10 people being arrested for disorderly conduct.
The incident report filed with the Union County Sheriff’s Office states that shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to 370 S. Jonesville Highway in reference to a large number of people fighting in the parking lot.
Sheriff David Taylor said Wednesday that when deputies arrived, most of those who been involved in the fight fled the scene. Taylor said as deputies were investigating the incident they learned there had actually been two fights. He said the first fight, which is the subject of a separate investigation, led to the first.
“There actually were two fights,” Taylor said. “The first fight happened an hour earlier and tensions were still very high from the first fight and kept building up, leading to the second fight taking place.
“Witnesses stated that approximately 20 to 30 people were involved in the fight,” he said. “After the fight was broken up, we were able to identify several of the participants in the fight and they were arrested for disorderly conduct.”
Those charged in the incident include:
Angela Jane Belue, 48, 709 Forest St., Jonesville.
James Edward Belue, Jr., 54, 709 Forest St., Union.
Charles Wesley Mclain, 34, 302 Toluca St., Union.
Timothy Thomas Adams, 21, 1413 Pineland Road, Union.
Caleb Hendrix Roberts, 25, 254 Farrow Road, Jonesville.
Jaran Harris, 25, 202 Buffalo St., Union.
Victoria Brannon Martin, 22, 136 Birch St., Jonesville.
Travis Joe Ellison, 26, 234 Cedar Lane, Pacolet.
Darryl Keith Brown, 23, 224 Lukesville Road, Buffalo.
Antoine Lamarcus Davis, 28, 610 Eisontown Road, Jonesville.
Union County EMS was also dispatched to the scene to examine Angela Belue who the report states injured her left forearm during the fight.
EMS personnel also examined another woman who the report states fell in the parking lot after the fight.
Taylor said the investigations into both fights are continuing and that more arrests are possible.
