A Buffalo man is accused of breaking into a home in his community and taking a quantity of guns.

James Edward Belue III, 25, of 201 Haywood St. was charged Tuesday by the Union County Sheriff’s Office with grand larceny and first -degree burglary.

The victim on 123 Stevens Road, Buffalo, told Deputy Randy Manus on Feb. 19 that someone kicked in the back door of his home and took five firearms worth $1,562.

Belue is the second arrest in the case.

Sunday, 29-year-old Dennis Ray Fowler of 104 Wayside Drive, Union, was charged by the sheriff’s office with receiving stolen goods. A warrant signed by Lt. Terry Humphries said Fowler had the guns in his possession with the knowledge that they were stolen.

Belue is being held in the Union County Jail. Because of the first degree burglary charge, his bond must be set by a Circuit Court judge.

Fowler was released on bond from the jail.
