The Union County Recreation Department is excited to welcome back the StarMakers Dance Company Tumbling/Gymnastics Program. Classes will be held on Friday evenings beginning Sept. 7.

Classes offered will include:

• Pre-school tumbling classes for girls ages 4 and 5. This class will meet from 4:30-5 p.m. and will focus on variations of forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels and round-offs.

• Two classes combining Beginner and Advanced boys and and girls ages 6 and up. The first will meet from 5-5:45 p.m. and the second from 5:45-6:30 p.m. This class will focus on rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, front and back walkovers, front and back handsprings, and round-off back handsprings.

Space is limited so sign up early!

All classes will be taught by certified gymnastics coaches Amy Ledford from Spartanburg, SC, who has been coaching for 30 years, and Union’s own Jana Crocker who has been coaching for two years.

There is a registration fee of $20 for each child enrolled. Fees for 30-minute classes are $30 a month and fees for 45-minute classes are $40 a month.
