For Wesley Chapel United Methodist, fall means volleyball and on any given Sunday a host of members can be found behind the church on an outdoor court. While recreational fellowship is primary, these players don’t take competition lightly which makes for exciting matches full of diving, setting, spiking and digging.

Teams are chosen at 6 p.m. by elected captains and several matches are played to set up the “championship” game, usually takes place around 7:30 p.m.

Wesley Chapel would like to encourage anyone interested in participating to come out and join the members, who — for as many Sundays as weather permits — will spend their Sunday evenings engaging in friendly competition on the volleyball court.
