Members of the Uniquely Union BBQ Festival committee say vendor spaces for this year’s festival are filling fast, and those who want a spot should act now.

“We have many applications out to local food vendors in hope that they will join us for the festival this year,” said committee member and Union County Tourism Commission Director Will Boyles. “It is our goal to get a great variety of vendors — both food and craft — to attend this year’s Uniquely Union Festival so that the attendees will have many booths and attractions to experience. We would like to encourage any vendor in Union to contact us if they have unique items they would like to sell at the event and we will gladly send them a vendor application.”

Committee Member Jami Trammell mentioned some of the crafters who have already committed to the festival including Embroidery by Karen, Tupperware by Lisa Cox, Mike’s Toys, Vonzel’s World of Art, Aloette, The Treasure Box & More and two Dixie Homecrafters vendors — from Charlotte and Greer — which will both raffle a free gutter system and other prizes.

Vendor applications for food or crafts are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration fees are $50 for a 12x12 booth and $100 for a 24x24 booth. Power will be furnished, but it is the vendor’s responsibility to have adequate power cords.

The festival also presents a special offer for non-profit agencies. Non-profit groups that apply will be given a 12x12 booth at no charge. A copy of the group’s 501(c)3 letter must be included with the application.
