Fall registration has already begun at USC Union, and business continues to pick up as the semester approaches.
USC Union Interim Dean Dr. Stephen Lowe said although there are no numbers to report yet, the outlook is good for the fall semester.
“I can tell you it’s looking good,” Lowe said when asked about the upcoming fall semester. “Things are starting to pick up and get busy. We’re looking forward to it.”
Ten students — who had graduated from high school but had not yet taken the SAT or ACT for college admission — took the institutional ACT at USC Union on Tuesday.
As the fall semester draws nearer, the number of preparatory activities will increase.
On July 24, a second orientation will be held for new students (the first was held June 14).
The university will give the institutional ACT again on Aug. 7.
A third orientation for new students will be held on Aug. 14, and classes begin on Aug. 23.
