Post 22 Senior Legion is on the cusp of pulling even with Belton in a best of five series. After Belton stole the first win on Monday, Union has traveled three nights straight only to be rained out.

Belton had jumped out to a 5-0 lead on Tuesday when the game was postponed due to inclement weather. The two were set to resume play on Wednesday but heavy rain forced another delay. On Thursday, Union turned things around, taking a 6-5 lead before, once again, being forced off the field due to rain.

The game is scheduled to conclude on Saturday at the Timken Complex with Belton down to its last two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Game three will follow. Jake Walton leads Union at the plate. Walton is 3-3 for with a two-run homer.
