SPARTANBURG — Monroe Kenney Thomas, 49, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, died July 8, 2012.
A native of Union, he was the widower of Phyllis Wilson Thomas and the son of Bessie Mae Harris Thomas and the late James Thomas.
He is survived by Ella White; one son, Keaeley Ray; one stepson, Marcus Lipscomb; one daughter, Shequita Brown; two brothers, Eddie Dean Salter and Willie Thomas; two sisters, Lavonne Sanders and Sheila Petty; and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the Union Church of Christ.
The Michael A Glenn Funeral Home Spartanburg is serving the family.
