JONESVILLE — Mr. Curtis L. Nelson, 85, formerly of 133 Fairbanks St., Jonesville, passed away June 28, 2012 at Magnolia Manor in Inman.
Mr. Nelson was born in Jonesville, March 5, 1927, a son of the late W.A. Nelson and Dora Clark Nelson. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and was a veteran of the US Army having served in World War II. Mr. Nelson was retired from Gates Rubber, Co. in Lithonia, GA.
Surviving are a sister, Mary R. Gregory of Spartanburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Nelson was predeceased by six brothers, Arthur Nelson, Herbert Nelson, George Nelson, J.B. Nelson, William Nelson and Howard Nelson.
A memorial services will be planned for a later date.
