At their recent June 11 meeting, Union American Legion Post 22 installed new officers for the 2012-13 year. Administering the oaths of office was South Carolina 8th District Commander Sam Cox, a member of Boiling Springs Post 200. Post 200 Commander Jack Wright was also present.
Tommy Sinclair took over the position of Commander of Post 22, with Arthur Jordan becoming the First Vice Commander and Charles Lott the Second Vice Commander. Paul Davis became the new Adjutant.
Other new Post 22 officers were John McKnight as Service Officer, Bill Goodwin as Finance Officer, Freddie Shirley as Chaplain, and Charles Barber as Sergeant-at-Arms.
Officers will serve until replaced in June 2013.
