Mr. and Mrs. John Smith of Union, South Carolina are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Latashia Smith to James Jeter, son of Betty Jeter and Donnie Epps of Union, South Carolina.
Ms. Smith is a graduate of Piedmont Technical College with an Associate Degree in Office System Technology. She is a registration clerk at Wallace Thomson Hospital. She is the granddaughter of the late Bernice Jeter Smith and the late John C. Smith Sr.
Mr. Jeter is a graduate of Greenville Technical College and is in the Army National Guard Reserves. He is employed at Georgia Pacific in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Betty T. Jeter and the late James Jeter.
The exchange of vows will take place July 28, 2012 at St. Paul Baptist Church, 308 Wallace St., Union, South Carolina at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. A.L. Brackett officiating.
