The incident report states that an officer was dispatched to Brown’s residence on Saturday afternoon in reference to an assault. When he arrived, the report states the officer was stopped at a residence across the street by a neighbor and the victim. The victim said she and Brown had came home from and that he hit her in the mouth and pushed her backwards into the wall of the living room of their house.
The report states the officer could the injuries to the victim’s mouth which was bleeding. The victim, however, refused treatment for her injuries.
The victim did, however, tell the officer that there was a big hole in the wall that Brown pushed her into.
It was at that point that the officer went across the street to Calvin’s residence to question him. The officer went to the front door which was opened by Brown who said he had not done anything and told the officer that he didn’t have any right to be there. The officer then advised Brown that he was there because the victim had called 911 because she’d been assaulted. He then opened the storm door so he could see Brown and the hole in the wall. The officer asked Brown about the hole and the report states Brown replied that the victim must have done it when she fell.
At that point, the report states Brown became very loud and said that he’d done nothing wrong and that the officer needed to leave his house. Brown then began to walk into another part of the house out of the officer’s sight. This prompted the officer to call for backup. When a second officer arrive on the scene, the responding officer advised him of the situation including the injuries that the victim had suffered and that Brown was going to be placed under arrest for criminal domestic violence.
The officers then entered Brown’s residence and advised Brown that he was under arrest. The report states Brown became angry and refused to put his hands behind his back. The officers then advised him to do so or he would be tasered. Brown then put his hands behind his back and was handcuffed and transported to jail.
