THE UNION COUNTY BEEKEEPERS ASSOCIATION will meet at 7 p.m. in the Clemson Extension Meeting Room. All interested in beekeeping are invited. Program will be harvesting honey.
UNION CITY COUNCIL will meet in special session at 9 a.m. in the Municipal Courtroom of City of Union Municipal Building. On the agenda is second reading of the 2012-2013 budget and tax levy and and discussion/motion concerning a new contract between the city and Terry R. Fant, CPA, for audit service. The public is invited to attend.
UNION COUNTY COUNCIL will meet in special session at 5:30 p.m. in the Grand Jury Room of the Union County Courthouse to hold second reading of an ordinance authorizing a referendum on changing the county’s form of government. Immediately following the meeting, council will hold a budget work session. The public is invited to attend.
THE JUNE COMMUNITY PRAYER MEETING will be held at noon at the USC-Union gazebo. Everyone is invited to come for a brief time of prayer for our community, our state, and our nation. If you cannot be there, try to take time for special prayer at noon or sometime during the day.
HORSE SHOE MUSIC HALL, 111 Harris St., Union, will welcome the Living Waters Gospel Band from Pacolet. The band will perform at 7 p.m. There is no admission. Everyone is welcome. Come and enjoy Southern Gospel Music.
THE GREER FAMILY REUNION for descendents of C. Lester and Martha V. Greer will be held in the Sardis United Methodist Church Social Hall with lunch at 1 p.m. Each family is asked to bring a well-filled basket. Plates, cups and utensils will be furnished.
