JONESVILLE — Nellie Mize Belue, 61, of 415 Pacolet St., Jonesville, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at her home.

Born April 8, 1947, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of L.S. and Ethelene Sanders Mize of Cowpens. Her life’s work was an exceptional dedication to her husband and family. While her physical presence may be gone, we know her job of watching over us continues.

Surviving in addition to her parents is her husband, Dr. Charles Perry Belue Jr.; four sons, Dr. C. Derrick Belue and his wife, Nicole, of Spartanburg, Jason Belue of Spartangburg, Zack McFarland of Camp Lejeune, N.C., and Seth McFarland of the home; a daughter, Sonni of the home; four grandchildren, Davis Belue, Perry B elue, Sloane Belue and Quinn Belue; three sisters, JewellCoker and her husband, Donnie, of Greenville; Carolyn Wright and her husband, Michael, of Nashville, Tenn., and Lavare Leith and her husband, Mike, of Wake Forest, N.C. She was predeceased by a sister, Vickie Emorie.

A memorial service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, 104 Garner Road, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
