The Union County boys soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Greer on Monday.

In a fast paced, hard fought battle, the Jackets had trouble finding the net.

“We had many chances but could not get one to bounce our way,” said Coach Jeff Bell. “The Greer team was strong and played a good game. They made a few great plays, but overall it was evenly matched and both teams gave a strong effort.”

Jake Benfield recorded 10 saves for the Jackets who fall to 1-3 in the region, 2-4 overall.
