After a 2-0 shutout over home standing Crescent High, the Jackets met up with Belton Honea Path and took an 11-4 win. Union County jumped out to an early 5-0 lead after two innings and piled on six runs in the third before BHP put up a single run. Eison was 2-3 at the plate and Tanijah Hunter contributed a home run and a triple. Abby Allen had a double and two RBI. Tiffany Vaughan was the winning pitcher.

In game three of the tournament, the Jackets handed Wren a 12-0 shutout. Ashley Vaughan hurled a three hitter and was 2-3 at the plate with an RBI.

Union County used nine runs in the top of the fifth inning to put the game away early. Eison led the offense with two hits, including a two run homer. Allen was 2-4 with a double and an RBI. Katie Melton was 2-4 with two RBI and two stolen bases and Hunter was 2-3 with one stolen base.

Union County’s next battle was with fellow region III-AAA, Chapman. The Jackets put up four runs in two innings before the Panthers cut the lead to two with a run in the third and one in the fourth. After two scoreless innings, the Jackets added four runs in the bottom of the sixth. Chapman rallied for two runs in the seventh before Union County put it away, 8-4.

Eison, once again, led the offensive attack, going 2-4 with a triple and two RBI. Melton was 2-3 and Allen had a double with two RBI.

Tiffany Vaughan picked up the win from the mound.

Union County received a rematch with Crescent in the championship game and Ashley Vaughan pitched a one-hitter to help the Jackets to a 9-1 win.

Eison was 3-4 at the plate with two home runs and three RBI. Allen was 2-4 with a double and Brooke Kelly was 2-4 with a double and three RBI.
