Letters to the president

Students in Mrs. Laura Crisp’s classroom at Monarch Elementary wrote a letter to President Obama as part of a study of local, state, and federal government. In addition to the letter to the president, students participated in an election where each student had to create their own campaign poster and speeches. Students registered to vote for a class president, voted in a private setting, and then received an "I Voted" sticker. The students hope to hear a response from the president to their letters very soon!
