Municipal and county governments, banks and the post offices will be closed Monday in honor of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Local Government
The Union County Courthouse, City of Union Municipal Building, Jonesville Municipal Complex, Carlisle Town Hall and Lockhart Town Hall will be closed.
Banks
All branches of Arthur State Bank and Provident Community Bank will be closed as will First Citizens Bank in Jonesville.
Post Offices
All offices of the US Postal Service will be closed.
Recycling
The county’s recycling convenience centers will also be closed Monday.
All government offices, banks, post offices and recycling convenience centers will reopen Tuesday on their regular schedules.
