Three companies will be looking for employees at a job fair Friday morning at the Union County Advanced Technology Center.

Caroline Rogers, branch manager for Ambassador Personnel, said her firm is holding the job fair to help three companies — two of them in Union County — who will be hiring a combined total of more than 40 workers.

“We are conducting the job fair to recruit qualified applicants for 10 positions with a company in the Union area,” Rogers said. “These positions include machine operators, grinders, and heat treat technicians. Applicants must have previous work experience and must be able to work any shift.

“Also at the job fair, we will be seeking applicants for a facilities maintenance supervisor for another firm in the Union area,” she said. “We will also be seeking applicants for 20 commercial electricians and 10 experienced x-ray welders for a company in the Upstate.”

Rogers said all applicants must provide Ambassador with a copy of their background check and verifiable references.

The job fair will be held at the Technology Center from 9-11 a.m.
