DAYTON, Ohio-Maggie Ethel Littlejohn was born June 8, 1931 in Union County to the late Millus and Allie Littlejohn. She departed this life on November 27, 2008, after a lengthy illness, at Arbors of Dayton.
Ms. Littlejohn was a resident of Dayton, Ohio for many years and a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton. She retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital after working there for several years.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Vance, granddaughter Shemeka, a great-grandson; five brothers, Abraham (Julia) Littlejohn, of Trotwood Ohio; Leroy, of Landis N.C.; Charles and Motheria (Thad) of Jonesville; and Marion, of New York; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, Luvenia, Leatrice, Elwillie, Juanita, and Minnie Ruth, and four brothers, Jesse, Paul, James and Ostel. and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at Gibson & Brown Funeral Home, 117 Ravenscroft St., Union by the Rev. Orville Littlejohn. Interment will be in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery, Union.
