Deputies have arrested the man thought to have been driving the car when a Buffalo resident was robbed at knifepoint earlier this month.

Alvin Eugene Jeter Jr., 23, of 5411 Cross Keys Highway, was charged Wednesday by the Union County Sheriff's Office with armed robbery.

Casey Aaron Roach, 21, and Joshua Elijah Falls, 22, both of 408 Meansville Road, Union were arrested Monday and face the same charge.

The 29-year-old victim told Deputy Randy Manus and Sgt. Dee Haney that the side door of his home on 115 Mill St., Buffalo, was unlocked and Falls and Roach came in. He said Falls held a knife to his neck and told him to give him all his money.

The victim said he gave Falls $2.

He said as Falls and Roach left, he was calling 911 and Roach took the phone out of his hand and ran out the door.

Officers went to Creekside Mobile Home Park and found Falls. They searched him and found two $1 bills in his front pocket.

Falls told officers that Roach had fled out the back door. Deputies located him at a nearby lot.

The victim's cell phone was found between the two lots.

Deputies were told Jeter transported the men to commit the robbery.

Charged in theft

John Anthony Stafford, 20, of 1502 West Springs Highway, Jonesville, was charged Wednesday by the sheriff's office with receiving stolen goods - a motorcycle.

The motorcycle was stolen from 207 Buffalo St., Buffalo on Oct. 10. The victim told Cpl. Jared Gilstrap the 2003 Suzuki was stolen from next to his front porch and was worth $6,000.

Arrested

Tracy Dianne Hyatt, 40, of 308 South 7th St., Lockhart, was charged Wednesday by the sheriff's office with financial transaction card fraud.

The victim, a Jonesville resident, told Sgt. Dee Haney that she received a phone call from a credit card company wanting money on an unpaid balance of $3,466. The victim said she had no card with the company and obtained an address to where the bill was being mailed.

Burglaries

On 801 Barnado Road, a victim told Deputy Roxie Belue Wednesday that someone broke into his storage building and took a variety of tools and equipment.

Items missing are worth $7,779 and include a trailer, saws, a welding machine, an air compressor and a riding mower.

On 141 Oak Grove Road, a victim told Belue Wednesday that jewelry worth $1,100 is missing from the residence, including a wedding set with a karat and a half diamond.
