The Wolverines led 24-3 after the first quarter and 30-3 at the half.
Marcus Lindsay scored four touchdowns and Jarrell Ruff-Smalls scored two for Whitmire, which benefited from seven Southside Christian turnovers.
“We preached all week not to have a let down,” said offensive coordinator Chris Martin. “The kids played hard. It's a win that keeps our dreams of repeating as region champs alive.”
WHS (4-3, 2-0) hosts Blacksburg next Friday. It will be the Wolverines' first home game since Sept. 4.
