Doris Pearson Moore, 75, of 213 Spruce St., Union, widow of Hamilton Gray Moore, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Wallace Thomson Hospital.

Mrs. Moore was born in Greer, Sept.17, 1933, a daughter of the late Augustus Pearson and Lillie Powell Pearson. She was a graduate of Parker High School and was retired from Wallace Thomson Hospital, where she worked in the business office. Mrs. Moore was a member of Unity United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Raymond Pearson and wife Delphene of Greer, and Clyde A. Pearson of Greenville; a nephew, David Pearson of Greenville; and many special friends including Sharon Rupp and Beth Weltman, both of Union and her lifelong friend, Bobby Nalley and her family of the Greenville area.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at the Salvation Army Citadel Chapel conducted by Cpt. Jason Smith and the Rev. C. Allen Senn. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville.
