Do you have free time on your hands and you would like to do something to help your fellow man?
Then Wallace Thomson Hospital might have a place for you as a volunteer.
The hospital will host a drop-in “Volunteer Recruitment Event” on Sept. 30 from 2-4 p.m. in the lobby.
Volunteer Coordinator Catherine Childers said tables will be set up with information about who the volunteers are, what they do, their fund raising events and where the money raised goes.
“If people are interested in volunteering, we want people to know who we are and how they can be a part,” Mrs. Childers said.
Volunteering opportunities are available in several areas of the hospital.
