Kelvin Jawon Davis, 19, of 147 Woodberry Drive, Union, died Aug. 18, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
A native of Union County, he was the son of Tammy C. Davis of Union and Kelvin M. Brown of Whitmire. He was a 2007 graduate of Union County High School.
Surviviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Preston M. Davis and Patrick O. Davis, both of Union; one sister, Tensslie (Chauncey Sims) Davis of home; maternal grandmother, Lillie Marie Davis of Union; maternal grandfather, Joe Lewis Davis of Spartanburg; paternal grandmother, Mary Bolden of Rock Hill; paternal great grandmother, Hattie Mae Brown of Whitmire.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Bethesda Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the home of his grandmother, Lillie Marie Davis, 720 Lakeside Drive, Apt K-7.
