Becca Richardson, daughter of John and Barbara Richardson of Union, has been selected as a finalist in the Pre-Teen South Carolina Academic and Enrichment Program to be held Aug. 30-Sept. 1, at the Marriott Renaissance Park, Spartanburg.
Pre-Teen South Carolina is a by-invitation only academic and enrichment event for young ladies 7-12 years of age based on school academic records, awards and honors and/or their participation in outside activities. Young ladies who have been recognized publicly for outstanding personal achievements, volunteer services, school involvement, leadership abilities or creative talents are invited.
Pre-Teen SC will award more than $5,000 in educational savings bonds, prizes and awards.
