Officers with the Union Public Safety Department are investigating a break-in reported Friday at Greer's Car Wash.

A report said Paul Greer told Cpl. Scott Coffer that sometime between Wednesday and Friday someone entered the office and took more than $400 in quarters.

A portion of the roof had been broken out to gain access.

The case has been turned over to the detective division of the public safety department. The report said Investigator Brian Bailey took several items from the office in an attempt to retrieve prints.

Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to call the public safety department at 429-1713 or Union County Crime-stoppers at 427-0800. A reward may be given for information leading to an arrest in the case.
