The bride-elect is a graduate of Union High School and is currently employed with Union County. She is the granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Andrew Jones of Union.

Mr. Dawkins is a graduate of Jonesville High School and holds an associate degree from the Nashville Auto Diesel College. He is currently employed with Kohler Company. He is the grandson of Hazel Dawkins, the late Herbert Dawkins Sr. of Union and the late Mr. and Mrs. Javant Means Sr. of Kelton.
