Douglas James Gossett, 52, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 at Spartanburg Hospice House.
Mr. Gossett was born in Union County May 31, 1955, the son of the late Flemming and Mozella Gossett. He was a domestic worker.
Surviving are a friend, Arthuree Jeter of Union; six sisters, Bertha Gossett, Brenda Gossett, Karen Gossett, Dianne Gossett, Elaine (Thomas) Norman, all of Union, and Shirley (Willie) Gossett of Jonesville; and two brothers, Alex (Dorothy) Gossett of Union and Flemming Gossett Jr. of Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at Gibson & Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be until 6 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
The Gibson & Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
