Gladys Seay Ross, 92, of 336 Sonoco Road, Union, formerly of Farley Avenue, Spartanburg, widow of Paul Thomas Ross, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at Wallace Thomson Hospital in Union.

Born May 4, 1915, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Nannie Williams Seay. She was a former physical therapist at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and was also employed at Drayton Mill. She was a member of Pacolet First Baptist Church and was pianist and organist at Calvary Baptist Church for over 40 years.

Survivors include a son, Gerald Sewell and wife Patricia, of Union; a daughter, Paulette Jimenez and husband Arthur of Columbia; a step-daughter, Juanita Bullard of San Rafel, Calif.; six grandchildren, Russell Sewell, Daniel Jimenez, Stephanie Irausquin, Billy Romano, Robert Romano, and Debbie Webb; and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Romano; a brother, Willie Seay; and a sister, Elsie Smith.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the the Rev. Robert Emory. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of her son, 336 Sonoco Road, Union.
